Worship together is a transforming experience. As we gather, we recognize that we are a part of something far greater than ourselves. As the music of worship plays we become a part of it as we blend our voices and hearts together in faith.

How should I dress?
You can wear any clothing that’s socially acceptable and comfortable. Dress clothing (suits, ties, etc.) are not necessary to find faith…you are! We want you to feel welcomed and comfortable.
Here at CUMC we have assisting devices for those who have problems with hearing. Just ask an usher for a device when you arrive and return it when you are done.
Coffee, Tea, Snacks, and Conversation
Come over to Frank Hall (next to the Sanctuary) between Sunday services for an opportunity to meet with the members and friends of Christ Church for coffee, tea, a snack and conversation.
Membership and Confirmation
Becoming a Member of the Church:
Is God calling you to join a community of Christian believers? What does it mean to take upon yourself the vows of membership? How does one go about finding answers to the great questions of the Bible—of life? We encourage you to explore faith with us at Christ Church. Classes are held periodically for anybody wishing to explore the basic and deeper understandings of the Christian faith and become to a member of the church. You may contact the church office for a schedule of classes and to learn about the various membership options.
This program is designed for youth in 8th grade and above. In this six month course, which is designed to teach Christian values, history and practice, youth are prepared to confirm for themselves the vows made on their behalf in their baptism. Of course, we welcome those wishing to be baptized, as well. During this class your teen will gain an appreciation for Christian history and tradition and become a stronger disciple for Jesus Christ. Pease contact the church office for more information.
Holy Communion is that sacrament of the faith where we experience anew the Easter love of God to us in Jesus Christ. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month. Because of the gracious nature of Holy Communion, it is open to all. We receive Holy Communion is a variety of ways and each one is meaningful. Christ teaches patience and acceptance, so if you don’t feel comfortable partaking in this most Holy of rituals you are more than welcomed to observe only.
If you have problems moving and would like to receive Communion in your seat, please tell an usher prior to the beginning of Service and it will be brought to you.
